Hyderabad: Prostitution racket running in guise of massage centre busted, three held
Hyderabad: The west zone task force raided Purple National Health, a massage centre in Banjara Hills, for prostitution, arrested a woman and her two associates and rescued over 10 victims.
The outfit was using a POS machine to collect money from clients and were charging a hefty fee from customers, police said.
Police said that the organiser, Shruthi, 23, had claimed that she discontinued her MBBS in Ukraine after the war began last year. She claimed that she had done an air hostess course in Ameerpet as well as one for hairstylists.
Police said Shruthi, a Bhadrachalam native, ran the racket through Zahid-ul-Haq and Ramana, who used to lure clients.
Shruthi used to lure unemployed women by promising them jobs in the medical sector and would introduce them to massage. She would then force them into the sex trade.
The rescued women were sent to a rescue home while the accused were handed over to Banjara Hills police for further investigation
