Hyderabad: Poor grades force teen to end life

According to the police, he went into bouts of depression following his poor performance in academics.

Hyderabad: A 17-year-old boy committed suicide because he could not concentrate on his academics. The victim was a student of SR College in Boduppal.

The Medipally police have identified the deceased as B Saikiran, 17, an intermediate student.

According to the police, he went into bouts of depression following his poor performance in academics. He was fed up with his studies. 

G. Raghu Ramudu, a sub inspector of Medipally police said, “On Wednesday afternoon, during lunch break, the victim went to his hostel room in the college and hanged himself.”
