GHMC Staffer Held for Fake Attendance

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad CCS nabbed Sabavath Ravi Kumar, a sanitary field assistant (SFA) with the GHMC, for marking attendance of outsourced employees using synthetic fingerprints. They also recovered synthetic fingerprints of 22 employees working with him and a biometric machine used for recording the employees’ attendance.

Working in GHMC circle 14, Goshamahal, Ravi Kumar prepared duplicate fingerprints of all workers under his control and used them to mark attendance of the absentees and late-comers and collected commission from the employees.

Cybercrime police arrest man for explicit content

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cybercrime police arrested one Bhukya Ramesh for misusing the X (formery Twitter) handles to post abusive and sexually explicit content and demanding money from women.

Police initiated action based on a complaint to the SHE Team regarding tagging of different X handles, posting of abusive images, morphed images and videos of the victim and demanding a deposit of Rs 50.

Based on technical analysis, police traced Ramesh, arrested him and presented him at a court where he was sent to remand on Friday.
