Prakasam techie dies after cricket in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Malapati Sanjeev, a 31-year-old techie from Sanathnagar in the city, died late on Saturday, after complaining of uneasiness while playing cricket at Parade Ground. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead, said the Begumpet police which registered a case of death under suspicious circumstances and started investigation.
Sanjeev hailing from Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh was working with a software firm at Gachibowli and was a resident of Sanathnagar.
Police said that Saturday being a holiday, Sanjeev along with a few friends went to Parade Ground to play cricket. At about 4.30 pm, while playing, he complained of uneasiness.
Police said prima facie no foul play is found behind the death. Only when the post-mortem examination report comes, the cause of death would be known. The investigation would follow accordingly, they added.
