Interstate Chain Snatchers Held, 24 Tolas of Gold Recovered
Kurnool: Police arrested three interstate chain snatchers at Basumukkala turning in Nandikotkur on Monday. Police recovered from them 24 tolas of gold chains, a motorcycle and a helmet.
Nandyal SP K Raghuveer Reddy identified them as Ratnavath Mohan Naik, Peshkari Srikanth and Ansar Ali of Nagarkurnool town in Telangana. The three accused have four cases pending against them in Atmakur sub-division of Nandyala district, another four cases in Kurnool, and two cases in Telangana state.
The chain snatchers have been arrested by a police team under the supervision of Atmakur DSP Srinivasa Rao, Atmakur circle inspector K. Nagabhushan, Nandikotkur Rural circle inspector Vijay Bhaskar, Nandikotkur Urban circle inspector Prakash, Atmakur sub-inspector D.V. Narayana Reddy and Pamulapadu sub-inspector G. Ashok.
