Techie's murder case solved: Seven arrested

The Neredmet police on Tuesday arrested seven persons who were allegedly involved in the murder of a software employee.

The incident came to light only around 9 am, when the workers came to wash the bus and found blood.

HYDERABAD: The Neredmet police on Tuesday arrested seven persons who were allegedly involved in the murder of a software employee outside the Malkajgiri court on December 22.

The victim, Yamjala Chander, had gone to the court to attend the hearing of a case when his in-laws brutally attacked and killed him. The murder created a sensation in the Malkajgiri area.

The arrested persons were identified as Garise Vinay, 37, brother-in-law of Yamjala Chader, and his six associates Akkapalli Vijay, 20, Dabilpoora Hemnath, 19; Sunkara Sathish alias Pandu,20; Ramagolla Bharath, 21 and Putta Balakrishna, 1 and Mekala Chaitanya Kumar, 26,. All of them had directly participated in the murder. 

Eleven others who had conspired are absconding. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Malkajgiri) R Uma Maheshwara Sharma, Yamjala Chander married Suhasini, sister of the Garise Vinay, in 2010. A few days after the marriage, Suhasini started demanding a share of the property acquired by Yamjala Chander. He filed a divorce petition seeking separation from his wife.

On December 22, when Chander went to attend the case along with his parents, Garise Vinay and his associates stabbed him resulting in his death. “Garise Vinay conspired with his parents and relative to kill Yamjala Chander and take away his property,” the police said.
