Bengaluru:CCB arrests rowdy at KIA
The police then conducted a raid at his house in R.R. Nagar, but could not nab him and recovered some land documents.
Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch police on Wednesday arrested a notorious rowdy sheeter, Lokesh alias Mulama, while he was trying to flee the city by taking a flight from Kempegowda International Airport.
A CCB officer said that over the past two months there were a couple of extortion complaints against Lokesh by the land owners. He was reportedly making threatening calls to a woman in Rajarajeshwari Nagar and a realtor in Bannerghatta.
The police then conducted a raid at his house in R.R. Nagar, but could not nab him and recovered some land documents.
He had reportedly fled to Mysuru and after tracing his hideout, CCB left for Mysuru on Tuesday. But he gave them a slip and returned to Bengaluru.
On Wednesday morning he tried to take a flight from KIA, but the CCB got a tip-off and they rushed to the airport and arrested him.
