Drunk argument led to gruesome murder of student, say police
HYDERABAD: The police on Monday said they took into custody one Hassan, in whose house at Brahmanapally murder accused student Hari Krishna cleaned himself after killing N. Naveen on Feburary 17.
Krisha removed his blood-stained clothes and threw them into a roadside dust bin near Sagar Complex, the Abdullapurmet police said in their remand report on the incident.
Krishna then went to his house in Warangal to meet his father and returned the same night along with an unidentified friend. After that, he set on fire a bag containing Naveen’s organs.
The police arrested Hari Krishna on February 22 for the murder of Naveen, an engineering student, near Ramadevi Public School. The murder took place after a heated argument over a girl.
According to the remand report, Krishna pushed Naveen to the ground, strangled him, beheaded him, stripped the body, chopped the genitalia and fingers and removed his heart with a steel knife.
The police said that Krishna took over an hour-and-a-half, as he was simultaneously sending pictures and messages to his girlfriend on WhatsApp.
Krishna also destroyed Naveen’s mobile phone and placed the victim's vital organs in his bag along with the broken mobile phone and the knife. He threw the bag in the bushes near Rajiv Gruhakalpa of Brahmanapally village. After meeting his father and returning, he retrieved the bag of body organs and set it on fire. He then surrendered to the police the next day, the report stated.
