Drunk person creates ruckus in police station
KAKINADA: A fully drunk 32-year-old man J. Manikanta created a flutter in Two Town police station on the midnight of Sunday. He broke a wash basin and cut his throat with his long nail. The police took him to a private hospital. After treatment, he was handed over to his parents and wife.
According to Two Town police, a complaint was lodged by a transgender that the man hit her with a beer bottle. Both, incidentally, are neighbours in Recharla Peta. After the incident, many from the transgender community gathered at the government general hospital and attacked him. The two town police picked him up and took him to the police station to rescue him. Meanwhile, the victim lodged a complaint against Manikanta, who was in a drunken state.
