Hyderabad: Supermarket manager, cousin held for murder of kin at bar

During investigations, the Uppal police found previous enmity to be behind the murder.

Hyderabad: The Uppal police arrested the manager of a supermarket chain and his cousin for killing their relative, autorickshaw driver M. Sai Prasad, 31, by hitting him on the head with beer and soda bottles on Monday

During investigations, the Uppal police found previous enmity to be behind the murder.

The accused were identified as the victim’s cousins,  S. Uday Shankar, 23, manager at D-Mart, Sanathnagar, and G. Srikanth, 33, security guard.

Police said the duo had got Prasad drunk and then took him to a bar where they assaulted him. After getting first aid for Prasad, they left him at home where he died.
