Rowdy sheeter, aide held in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Sirikonda police arrested a rowdy sheeter, Asad, of Kalapatthar and his associate Sheik Waheeduddin of the Charminar area of Hyderabad, on Wednesday. The police arrested the duo at the railway station here and seized a knife and a four-wheeler from their possession.

Speaking to newsmen, commissioner of police V. Satyanarayana said that the two, along with others, came to Sirikonda on September 20 for a settlement of a financial issue. The accused attempted to murder Ansar, who invited them for the settlement, he said. The CP appreciated the police team for nabbing the accused.
