Hyderabad: Serial killer, wife in judicial custody

According to police, the accused Yerukali Srinu was reportedly involved in more than four murders.

Hyderabad: A suspected serial killer was arrested by the Mahabubnagar police on Friday. His wife, who helped in disposing the stolen objects from the victim, was also arrested.

According to police, the accused Yerukali Srinu was reportedly involved in more than four murders. He used to target women who came to toddy shops whom he would lure with liquor and money and take them to a secluded spot them. Later, he would relieve them of all their gold ornaments and money. Speaking about the modus operandi Mahabubnagar SP Rema Rajeshwari said, “The accused is a confirmed drunkard who does nothing. As money was not adequate, he targeted ladies who come to toddy shop alone by wearing gold and silver ornaments. He decided to kill them and snatch their gold and silver ornaments. He would sell them later in which his wife was an accomplice.”
