Bengaluru: Harassed by teacher, teen ends life

After returning from school on Saturday, he remained quiet and ended his life on Sunday.

Bengaluru: A 16-year old student ended his life after his teacher allegedly insulted him in front of the class in Uttarahalli.

The deceased, Dhanush, was a Class 10 student of a public school in Talaghattapura police limits.

The police said that Dhanush was dejected over the alleged harassment from his teacher Bala Krishna, who on Saturday allegedly insulted the boy in the class.

After returning from school on Saturday, he remained quiet and ended his life on Sunday. 

He has left behind a death note in which he says he could not bear the harassment from his teacher Bala Krishna and was ending his life.

His parents lodged a complaint  with the Talaghattapura police against the teacher.
