Woman kills mother over family dispute in Nizamabad

 HYDERABAD: A woman brutally killed her mother at Ummeda village in Nandipet mandal of Nizamabad district. The incident came to light on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Nagam Narsu, 52, of Ummeda village.

According to sources, Nagam Haritha, elder daughter of the victim, attacked her mother on Friday with a pestle over a family dispute.

Later, the accused fled from the house and informed about the incident to younger sister Aruna and other relatives on Saturday. While reaching home, the relatives found the body of Nagam Narsu in pool of blood. Narsu had already succumbed to severe injuries.

The body has been shifted to the government hospital in Nizamabad. Nandipet police registered a case and are investigating.
