Hyderabad: Auto driver murdered in money row
Shabbir arrived and they had an argument. Afsar and his men assaulted and killed him.

Hyderabad: A 30-year-old autorickshaw driver was murdered on Thursday night near Dayanand Nagar railway station. The deceased was identified as Mohd Shabbir. Police said Shabbir had a chit fund business. “He had given a loan of Rs 5,000 to his friend, Afsar, which had not been paid back. The two had a heated argument a week ago regarding the same,” said inspector Chandraiah.
“On Thursday at 8:30 pm Afsar called Shabbir near Dayanand Nagar railway station. Shabbir arrived and they had an argument. Afsar and his men assaulted and killed him,” added the inspector. Based on a complaint from Shabbir’s wife Shabana Umnasa police booked a case.
