Hyderabad: Two Nigerians arrested for cheating woman

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad cyber cell on Wednesday arrested two Nigerian nationals for cheating a woman to the tune of Rs 6.51 lakh. The arrested were identified as Kingsley Uche Anesodo and Clement Idahosa. 

According to the police, the duo had contacted the victim after procuring her contact details from a matrimonial website, shaadi.com. 

The accused had introduced himself as Bhumish Deepak,  a Geophysicist working in an oil company and was a widower since 2011. He said that, he has an eight-year-old daughter, who needed a heart surgery immediately, and cheated the victim, said the police. The accused were identified through the call data and the bank statements and were brought into the city from Delhi, where they are staying.
