Hyderabad: Woman constable attacks woman conductor
A video of the incident was shot by a passenger and has gone viral.
Hyderabad: A woman constable assaulted an RTC conductor in Mahbubnagar district when the later asked the former to pay for the journey. The woman conductor has lodged a complaint with the Mahbub-nagar police.
Constable Rajitha Kumari was travelling in an RTC bus from the Mahbubnagar depot. When the conductor, Shobharani, asked Rajitha to take a ticket, she refused. An angry constable attacked the conductor after abusing her.
A video of the incident was shot by a passenger and has gone viral. Sources said that the constable also tried to snatch away the mobile phone of the passenger, who recorded the fight.
Ms Anuradha, SP, Mahbubnagar, said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. “After the probe, necessary action will be initiated. The woman constable has been attached to the headquarters,” she said.
