Tirupati: Angry driver sets his auto on fire
The drivers have been protesting against the police move to ban the entry of share autos into the city limits in Tirupati.

TIRUPATI: An auto rickshaw driver set fire to his auto at Anna Rao circle in Tirupati on Tuesday in protest against the police action on sharing and other issues. The drivers have been protesting against the police move to ban the entry of share autos into the city limits in Tirupati since last month. The auto drivers have been fighting against the police decision from the beginning.
Driver Sudhakar Reddy set his vehicle on fire with other auto drivers, Venkataramana, Siva Shankar and Kiran. Police have rushed to the spot and took them into custody. The police also file a case against them.
