Hyderabad: Woman suspects man of stalking, hubby kills him
The incident occured when the woman noticed Kumar and thought that he was following them.
Hyderabad: In a case of alleged stalking, a man was beaten to death by a woman’s husband at Jeedimetla late on Tuesday night.
Jeedimetla inspector P. Ramana Reddy said that they received an alert on 100, that two persons were quarrelling on the road and one had been beaten to death. “A team immediately rushed to the spot and found T. Raja Kumar, 40, dead with a head injury. Kumar’s head was hit repeatedly on the road, causing loss of blood. He died on the spot,” the inspector said.
Narrating the sequence of incidents, the inspector said that when Kumar was heading home on his bicycle, two women, who work in an industry were also walking home. The women noticed Kumar and thought that he was following them. When they questioned him, a verbal fight erupted between the women and Kumar and they hit him.
Meanwhile, one of the women, Nagalaxmi, called her husband Musthakin and informed that Kumar was following her and her colleague and that he had abused them. Musthakin rushed to the spot and started beating Kumar mercilessly and hit his head to the road repeatedly, said the inspector.
Based on a complaint from T. Nirmala, wife of the victim, a murder case has been booked and his body was handed over after a post-mortem.
