Two suspected Maoists arrested in Vizag agency
The police found Maoist literature and explosive material with them during a routine check up.
Visakhapatnam: Araku Valley police on Wednesday arrested two persons, including a woman, suspected to be Maoists, at Killoguda area under Dumbriguda mandal in Vizag agency.

Upon being questioned, they identified themselves as Bisai Damodar Tilak, 47, a working member of the Maoist frontal organisation OPGR (Organisation for Protection of Girijan Rights) and Vanatala Vasanta, 18, an area committee member.
Vasanta faces 15 cases. Both were arrested and presented before Paderu DSP V.B. Rajkamal, who directed his officials to produce them before the special excise court. The magistrate remanded them to judicial custody till December 12.
