Cable TV case on Kodela Siva Prasada Rao's son
Narasaraopeta police of Guntur district registered a case against K. Sivaramakrishna.
GUNTUR: Narasaraopeta police of Guntur district registered a case against K. Sivaramakrishna, TD leader and son of AP Legislative Assembly Speaker K. Siva Prasada Rao on Saturday. The police registered the case on the direction of the court for cutting cable TV wires and equipment of a competing local cable TV station. According to reports, Raghavendra Communications of Arundelpeta of Narasaraopeta had tied up with Panchjanya Media Private Limited of Guntur for digitalisation and distribution of set-top boxes. They installed new optical fibre and RF cables, nodes and amplifiers in Prakashnagar and other areas of Narasaraopeta.
Raghavendra Communications managing partner Lam Koteswara Rao lodged a complaint against AK Communication managing director K. Sivaramakrishna about cutting cables and stealing instruments on March 17, 2016. The police did not a register case or investigate. Raghavendra Comm-unications filed a case in the High Court about the theft of instruments and the police not registering the case. Narasaraopeta town CI M. Veeraiah, said that following the orders of the court, the Narasaraopeta police registered the case and started a probe.
