RTA seizes 20 cars from Ranga Reddy

Teams from the Road Transport Authority have seized 20 cars in Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts for illegally using them for driving classes.

Hyderabad: Teams from the Road Transport Authority have seized 20 cars in Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts for illegally using them for driving classes. Recently, such practices by unauthorized driving schools had been brought to light through these columns.

Following this, officials are conducting raids for the past 10 days. RTA teams have registered cases against 20 driving schools that are not having permissions for driving classes.

Vehicles run by these institutions were not in good condition. Ranga Reddy district transport officer Muppala Praveen Rao said their teams were continuing the raids. “We are taking action based on the complaints received at RTA’s toll-free number.”
