Nalgonda: After 3 years, 2 murderers get 10 years jail

While Parthasarthi stabbed one victim with a knife, Yadiah strangulated the other one with the help of a towel to ensure that she was dead.

Hyderabad: Two accused have been convicted by a city court on Tuesday for murder after being on trial for almost three years. 

The accused were identified as E. Parthasarthi, 51, from Malakpet and P. Yadiah, 60, from OU campus. Both of them are autorickshaw drivers by profession.

“The accused had murdered K. Uma Rani, and her mentally-challenged brother K. Prabhu at Podichedu village, Mothkur mandal of the then Nalgonda District and stole seven gold bangles, magalsutra, earrings and nose rings,” said K. Satyanarayana, Inspector of Police Kacheguda.
