Fake job racket busted in Karimnagar, three arrested

KARIMNAGAR: Three persons were arrested by the One-town police for cheating several unemployed youth under the pretext of providing them jobs in government departments on contract basis and jobs in certain renowned private companies. The police officials busted the fake job racket and  seized three mobile phones and Rs. 93,000 from the gang members in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Announcing the arrest of the gang, ACP Tula Srinivas Rao said the accused  were identified as Mandala Bhaskar, native of Indiram village of Mancherial district, Gangarapu Madhu Murthy, native of Godavarikhani town of Peddapalli district and  Batthini Vykuntam, native of Indurthy village of Chigurumamidi mandal of Karimnagar district. Two others were also involved in the racket which collected huge amount of money from the job aspirants.

A candidate, who was cheated by the gang lodged a complaint with the Karimnagar one-town police station. Registering the case, the Circle inspector Natesh deployed a special team under the leadership of Assistant Sub-inspector of Police Raheem to nab the gang.

After tracking the movements of the gang, the police officials arrested the three members of the gang. Search is on for the other two who are absconding.

While appreciating the police team for busting the racket, the ACP appealed to the unemployed youth not to get trapped in such rackets by believing the middlemen offering jobs.
