Bengaluru: Man stabbed by miscreants

Bengaluru: Byatrayanapura police are on the lookout for two bike-borne miscreants in connection with a robbery and attempt to murder case. The duo stabbed a 24-year-old and robbed his mobile phone and cash on Mysore Road.
Police have taken up a case based on statements by Sameer and his friend. Sameer who runs a mobile phone outlet, and his woman friend, went to an apartment in Nagarbhavi to celebrate a friend’s birthday on Sunday.
The party ended around 2.30 am on Monday and Sameer offered to drop to his friend in Koramangala. Sameer stated that around 3 am on Mysore road in FCI Layout, two miscreants on a bike waylaid them and threatened Sameer with a knife. They demanded all his valuables and when he resisted, one of the miscreants stabbed him on his back and right leg and made away with Rs 11,000 he had in his pocket, and his phone. The incident came to light Sameer was brought to Victoria Hospital and the hospital informed the police.
