Hyderabad: Delivery Executive Robbed of Parcels Worth ₹ 9.56 Lakhs

Hyderabad: Om Prakash Maurya, 53, working as a delivery executive for a parcel agency was attacked by two miscreants and robbed of parcels worth Rs 9.56 lakh from near Park Lane late on Monday night.

The suspects came on a bike intercepted Maurya who was on a bike, threw chilli powder and blowed him on his face and fled with the parcels. Maurya recovered from the shock and alerted the police.

A case was registered at Mahankali Ppolice Station and special teams have been formed to nab the suspects. It is suspected that the robbery could be the work of known persons of Maurya.

According to police, Maurya picked up parcels at Narayanaguda, Himayath nagar and Basheerbagh and was coming to the office located at CTC, Secunderabad.

Police are also verifying CCTVs for clues of the suspects.
