Man arrested in Balanagar; 500 grams of heroin seized

Hyderabad: Balanagar police and the Medchal special operation team (SOT) arrested a businessman for peddling opium and seized five sachets containing 500 grams of the narcotic from his possession, the accused Rajpuri, 25, a Rajasthan native and resident of Vinayaknagar, Balanagar, was arrested from Shobana Colony vegetable market.

Balanagar sub-inspector A. Ashok said Rajpuri had confessed that he had procured opium from one Manohar of Jalore district. Balanagar inspector K. Bhasker said the accused had been produced in court.
