Kakinada: Youths who stole 743 gm gold held

KAKINADA: Two youths, Prashant Jadhav, 19, and Sushant Jadhav, 23, of Karvi village in Sangli district of Maharashtra were arrested by Three Town Crime Police here on Monday for stealing and seized 743 grams of gold biscuits worth of Rs.24 lakh from them.

Superintendent of Police Mr Vishal Gunni told the reporters here on Monday that Prashant worked at his uncle's shop but quit due to dispute with the shop owner Sathish Jadhav. 

On October 9, Prashant and Sushanth stolen two golden ingots weighing 743 grams from the shop. 

As per the complaint by the shop owners, the Kakinada Crime DSP kept a vigil on the two youth. When the youths came to Kakinada to retrieve from a secret spot, the police caught them.
