Telangana: Pusher paid Rs 1000 daily to his agents

According to the excise cops, the accused Bagari Santhosh, 21 and Mohd. Masood, 38, were smuggling cocaine and opium into the city and selling it to needy customers.

Hyderabad: Sell ganja in the city and earn Rs 1,000 a day. Rakesh, a drug peddler from Tappachabutra, was operating a ganja racket in the city by employing agents and paying them Rs 1,000 a day for selling ganja. Rajendra-nagar police arrested agent Qayyum and recovered 600 grams of ganja from him. Police detained daily wage labourer Mohammed Qayyum, 34, in Upperpally while he was selling ganja in sachets. He admitted that he was selling ganja as per the instructions of Rakesh, who pays him Rs 1,000 per day for it.

Police said that Rakesh was running a big racket in the city. He was found employing people who are already addicted to ganja and deploying them to sell it to auto drivers, truck drivers and daily labourers. They sell a sachet of 30 grams for Rs 300. “To all agents Rakesh gives a bike, a phone and ganja,” inspector V. Umender said. Police recovered 20 packets of ganja weighing around 600 grams from him and set up teams to nab Rakesh.
