Hyderabad: Labourer's body found, police suspects murder

A murder case was registered and the body was handed over to the family.

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old labourer was found murdered in LB Nagar on Monday morning. Police said that Kanthaiah had left home on Sunday night to consume alcohol. Kanthaiah was staying in LB Nagar. On Sunday evening he came home drunk.

Around 7 pm he went out saying that he is going to a wine shop. On Monday morning he was found dead. “We identified him using a pocket book. There were empty bottles near his body. We suspect that a fight while drinking could have led to the murder,” LB Nagar inspector P. Kasi Reddy said, adding that there were no other clues.  A murder case was registered and the body was handed over to the family.
