Hyderabad: Woman tells police of rape, blackmail

Hyderabad: The Pahadi Shareef took two people into custody after a 30-year-old woman alleged that they had raped her and extorted money for eight years. Police officials said that they had booked a case for rape.

Police said the victim  and the accused were acquaintances earlier. According to the police, Ahmed Jasim Khan and Syed Ibrahim have been taken into custody.

According to the complainant, Jasim Khan was introduced to her eight years ago by her relative. She alleged that he had subsequently, raped her multiple times and once filmed her using his mobile phone. Later, he and Syed Ibrahim started blackmailing her using the video. Police has begun investigations.
