Hyderabad: The Chaitanyapuri police conducted a cordon and search operation in its police station limits on Wednesday.
During the search six suspects were detained, 11 bicycles, 30 bikes, nine cylinders and 12 alcohol bottles were seized.
Three assistant commissioner of police, 19 inspectors, 36 sub-inspectors, and 45 women police and a total of 330 other police officers took part in the operations.
“These operations are being conducted keeping in mind the safety of people and to control the nuisance of the rowdy sheeters in the area,” said Venkatesvararavu, deputy commissioner of Police in Bibi Nagar.
