Chennai: CB-CID releases two Hindu Munnani man murder suspects' pics

Chennai: The CB-CID on Friday released the pictures of two persons in connection with its probe into the murder of C. Sasikumar, Hindu Munnani’s media co-coordinator in Coimbatore.

The murder took place in Thudiyalur near Coimbatore on September 22.
CB-CID had not said that the two are suspects. But instead the press release from the agency claims that the two men named Saddam and Mubarak from Saibaba Colony are wanting to gather specific information about the
case.

“They have some links to Popular Front of India. We are looking for more information on them,” the police said. Both are not available at their residences and their families are not able to provide information about their whereabouts.
The two had also failed to appear before the agency despite repeated summons, the press release from the agency said.

The CB-CID requested the two to approach CB-CID office in Coimbatore and had also sought the public to pass on any information on the two to CB-CID inspector on his contact numbers 9498174230 and 0422-2241752.
