Telangana: Man remains ill, wife ends life

Hyderabad: Depressed after ill health of her husband a 20 year old housewife set herself. B. Navya immolated her two-year-old daughter along with herself in Yadadri district. According to Police, Navya got married to Naresh a resident of Nancharipet village in Mutakondur mandal five years ago. Six months ago, Naresh had a paralytic attack all over the body and was bedridden. Navya started working as a farm labour. Low earnings and Naresh’s expensive treatment raised financial burdens that Navya could not bear.

On Thursday night, Navya set themselves ablaze along with her daughter. Naresh raised an alarm. But by the time neighbours rushed to rescue the mother and the child, they were totally charred said police. A suspicious death case was registered the bodies were handed over to the family after postmortem. The case is under investigation.
