Mumbai: A comprehensive chargesheet has unveiled the intricate plot behind the April attack on Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence. The document highlights a lengthy conversation between Anmol Bishnoi, brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, and the shooters involved in the incident. Anmol Bishnoi's nine-minute speech aimed to embolden the assailants, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, as they prepared for their violent mission.

The chargesheet includes a nine-minute audio recording of Anmol Bishnoi giving a motivational talk to the shooters. He invoked religious references to inspire them.

"Lord Ram has blessed us. We will handle him (Salman Khan). There is no problem, as long as it is in my control," he said.

Anmol Bishnoi further urged, "Now it is do or die, either life or death. It is written by God. Either the bullets will be fired in the morning or we will sit at home. It is in your hands what to do and what not to do. If you work, then history will be created. You will fill the newspapers."
The plan, according to the chargesheet, was meticulously crafted over several months, from August 2023 to April 2024. Investigations revealed that the gang intended to acquire advanced firearms from Pakistan, including AK-47s, AK-92s, M16 rifles, and the Turkish-made Zigana pistol – the same model used in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala on 29 May 2022.

Anmol Bishnoi reassured the shooters, saying, "Don't be afraid at all while doing this work. Doing this work means bringing change in society." He described the Bishnoi Gang's signature move of emptying the gun magazine during an attack. "You people will empty the magazine as soon as you reach outside Salman Khan's house," he directed.

The chargesheet details a surveillance network of approximately 60 to 70 individuals who meticulously tracked Salman Khan's movements. This extensive monitoring covered his residence in Mumbai, his Panvel farmhouse, and Goregaon Film City, where he frequently visited for film shoots.

Alarmingly, the chargesheet also reveals that minors, boys under the age of 18, were recruited for the assassination attempt. These youths were reportedly awaiting orders from Goldie Brar and Anmol Bishnoi, believed to be operating from North America, to initiate the attack.

Last week, a special court in Mumbai issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godera, another alleged member of the Bishnoi gang. Lawrence Bishnoi remains incarcerated in Sabarmati Central Prison in Ahmedabad.
