Home Guard Held for Molesting Minor in Moving Train

 Hyderabad: Kachiguda Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a Home Guard, dressed in police uniform, for outraging the modesty of a minor, aged 15, in a moving train.

According to Kachiguda RPF, the victim's father lodged a complaint stating that he along with his daughter on May 28 was travelling in S-3 coach of Venkatadri Express.

While his daughter was asleep on side upper berth and his wife on side lower berth, he noticed the accused Home Guard, T. Prathap, (HG NO. 105), clad in police uniform, outraging the modesty of his daughter by touching her private parts, police said.

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s father on May 29, Kacheguda RPF registered a case (100/2024) against the accused, who was produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody.
