MP: 2 teenage girls stab each other over circulation of video, injured

Bhopal: Two teenage girls in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh stabbed each other over circulation of a video featuring one of them, police said on Friday.

Both of them were hospitalised with knife wounds.

According to the police, a video showing one of them swimming in a pond went viral, leaving her furious at the other girl suspecting her hand in it.

The 18-year-old girl whose video went viral held her friend, the 19-year-old girl, responsible for it since the latter took video of her swimming in a pond in Kathoda area, police said.

She attacked her friend with a knife, leaving her wounded.

Her friend also attacked her with a knife, leaving her injured.

The two teenagers filed cross complaints, Madhotal police station in-charge Vipin Tamrakar said.

Probe was on into the incident.
