Command Control Officer Dies by Suicide in Narsingi

A woman died by suicide at a residential building in Narsingi on Friday. The deceased, G. Anuradha, was working as a senior assistant with the Command Control special branch. The Narsingi police reached the spot and shifted the to the OGH mortuary. The cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Murder Accused Killed by Victim's Family, Incident Caught on Video

Twentyseven-year-old Qutubuddin was stabbed and beaten by a group of people, Asifnagar police said. He was taken to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. The murder was filmed and a video of the incident was widely circulated on social media.

Police said Qutubddin was an accused in a seven-month-old murder case. The police identified the accused as Imran, Taher and Aaman and are suspected to be family members of the victim suspected to be killed by Qutubuddin.

19-Year-Old Stabbed to Death Over Neighborhood Dispute

A 19-year-old, Syed Sameer, was kidnapped and stabbed to death near Gurram Cheruvu at Royal Colony, Balapur police said on Friday. The incident came to light after the victim’s father, Syed Muneer, 47, lodged a complaint with the police.

According to the police, Sameer had got into a fight with one Mohammed Sohail - two months back. On Thursday night, Sohail and his aide Sofian kidnapped Sameer, took him to a deserted area near Gurram Cheruvu, and stabbed him. Sameer tried to escape but collapsed.

Muneer, the victim’s father, told the police he had received a call from Sameer’s number, informing him about the incident. Syed Muneer and his brother-in-law Mohammed Ashwaq Ali went to the spot and shifted Sameer to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.

“I don’t know what my son’s fault was,” Muneer said. “He had asked a girl in our neighbourhood and her boyfriend to stop illegal activities. The boyfriend killed him.”
