TD Youth plan stir for SCS from February 2

Vijayawada: The Telugu Yuvatha youth of Telugu Desam will hold a series of protests from February 2 to 11 in 13 districts of AP State demanding Special Category Status and fulfillment of bifurcation assurances. This was discussed at a meeting of Telugu Yuvatha State executive committee held at Guntur on Thursday.
Telugu Yuvatha state president Devineni Avinash stated that TD youth would arduously work for the TD to win in the forthcoming elections by campaigning for the TD government welfare schemes.
Addressing a press meet in the TD state office at Guntur on Thursday, Mr Avinash said that return of TD to power in the 2019 elections was a “historical” necessity and asked TD youth to work for a TD win.
He said that Telugu Yuvatha state committee oath-taking ceremony would be held on February 6. He stated that on February 2 human chain protest, on February 3 tree plantation, on February 4 candlelight rallies, on February 5 bicycle and bike rallies from Gandhi statue to Ambedkar statues, on February 6 Telugu Yuvatha committee oath-taking, on February 7 silent protest, on February 8 road cleaning, on February 9 black dress and black ribbon wearing protests, on February 10 prayers in temples, mosques and churches and on February 11 hunger strike supporting Mr Naidu’s Delhi Deeksha would be held.
