Indian filmmakers should shoot more in Poland: Envoy
Renowned Polish Director Krzysztof Zanussi said if Indian culture films are released outside India and audience can relate to them.
BENGALURU: Poland Consul General Damian Irzyk has remarked that he would like to see greater visibility of his country in Indian films.
During an interaction on the last day of 11th edition of BIFFes, he said popular director Raj Kumar Hirani has shot his films in Poland and actors Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have figured in it. Renowned Polish Director Krzysztof Zanussi said if Indian culture films are released outside India and audience can relate to them.
Chinese film maker Chen Rui Rui, who is also the screenwriter of the film ‘The Rib’, said that there are two issues with censorship in China, which concerns LGBTQ and religion.
As per her observations in France where she studied has the similar issues relating to LGBTQ community as in China. She said she was inspired to know more about the community and she researched intensively to make a film on them.
