1,338 booths are sensitive, says GHMC
Meanwhile, the highest number of sensitive polling stations in Secunderabad LS constituency were identified in Amberpet at 95.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has identified as many as 1,338 sensitive polling stations across twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Of the 1,338 sensitive polling station, 71 lie in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency.
In the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency, GHMC has identified as many 144 sensitive polling station in Chandrayangutta, 139 in Yakutpura, 136 in Bahadurpura and 46 in Goshamahal.
Meanwhile, the highest number of sensitive polling stations in Secunderabad LS constituency were identified in Amberpet at 95. It had also identified 84 polling station in Khairatabad, 77 in Nampally and 76 in Jubilee Hills.
Apart from this, GHMC has also identified 13 critical polling stations. The civic body, in total, has identified 429 critical locations where the security will be beefed up and will under constant CCTV surveillance to avoid any untoward incident.
