Another aircraft to operate from Mysuru airport
Now, a 72-seater aircraft from Chennai lands at the Mysuru Airport at 7.25 pm and departs at 7.55 pm to Chennai.
Mysuru: Alliance Air will operate another 72-seater flight from Mysuru Aiport shortly, connecting the Heritage City with Kochi.
Alliance Air will operate ATR72 flight on all days of the week except Monday. The flight will arrive at 8.05 pm and depart at 8.35 pm. As of now, the operations have been confirmed till October 26 of this year, and they will begin soon, sources said.
The Union ministry for civil aviations recently approved six flights to connect Mysuru to five cities across the country under Udaan Phase 3 regional connectivity scheme. The approved flights are to Bengaluru, Kochi, Belagavi and Goa, and two flights to Hyderabad.
Now, a 72-seater aircraft from Chennai lands at the Mysuru Airport at 7.25 pm and departs at 7.55 pm to Chennai. It has over 90 percent occupancy every day, sources said.
Stakeholders have said that improving air connectivity to Mysuru will boost tourism and attract good investment in the industrial sector.
