Congress workers booked for traffic block
The case relates to campaigning conducted by the Congress leaders at Masjidbanda in Gachibowli.
Hyderabad: Cyberabad police on Sunday registered a case against Congress activists, including former MLA Bikshapathi Yadav and youth wing leader Ravi Kumar Yadav, for bursting firecrackers and playing music without taking permission.
They party workers are also accused of creating disturbance to traffic movement at Gachibowli.
The case relates to campaigning conducted by the Congress leaders at Masjidbanda in Gachibowli.
A police patrolling team from Gachibowli police station found that the campaigners had not taken permission for the drive. A case was registered at Gachibowli police station under sections 188, 171 (H) and 341 of IPC. A police official said, “The case has been registered against the Congress activists for disobedience of orders issued by the police and creating traffic obstruction. Investigation has been taken up.”
