HYDERABAD: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Friday registered cases under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in response to TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy's complaint to the joint director of the ED in Basheerbagh on Friday regarding the TSPSC Group-1 preliminary exam question paper leak scam alleging that money laundering and hawala transactions worth several crores of rupees had occurred.

The ED officials are likely to consider inputs from a four-page complaint filed by Revanth Reddy.

The investigation agency plans to focus on money transfers that occurred between TSPSC employees for selling the leaked question paper and buyers who made cash and digital payments. The ED is expected to file a petition in court seeking case details for further investigation.

As part of the probe, the ED officials will be closely monitoring the SIT probe. Sources said the ED officials, however, did not approach the Hyderabad police to obtain case specifics such as the FIR, accused details, and case status.
