Raids held on sub registrar offices across Telangana

The official source said that their teams were verifying records.

Hyderabad: Following the strict instructions given by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao after reviewing the scam of illegal registrations of lands, the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday conducted raids across the state.

An official source said that 10 teams were formed to raid sub-registrar offices. Three teams were continuing raids in the city till the last report, while seven were working in districts including Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, Khammam, Medak and Karimnagar. The official source said that their teams were verifying records.

“We can nott talk about the amount recovered. Our teams have been verifying records of last three years at the sub-registrars. Mostly, we are concentrating on big deals,” the source said.
