Appoint all 893 nurses kept in waiting: Dasoju
The Congress said that former minister Etala Rajendar rushed to New Delhi to avoid a TRS trap
HYDERABAD: AICC spokesperson Dasoju Shravan said that unemployed youth were suffering due to the mistakes committed by TSPSC. He feared more suicides by depressed and demoralised students if the state government delays the issue of notifications any longer.
After interacting with some newly selected staff nurses at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, he told reporters that it was way back in November 2017 that the government gave notification for 3,311 staff nurse placements. While 21,319 applicants appeared for the exam, 2,418 persons were appointed but the fate of the remaining 893 was kept hanging in the balance as a result of which many were subject to mental tensions. He requested the TSPSC chairman Janardhan Reddy to place them immediately.
He alleged that the government is conspiring against the unemployed youth as the agriculture notification mentioned that the candidates should be below 34 years. Srqavan demanded that the age-limit should be 44 years for all the ensuing notifications.
He said that former minister Etala Rajendar rushed to New Delhi to avoid a TRS trap. He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was increasing pressure on police and revenue officials and Rajendar was trying to steer himself clear.
The Congress leader slammed Rao for filing cases against Etala, his wife, son and daughter-in-law.
