Jagananna Suraksha Chakra to be implemented from Saturday
VIJAYAWADA: Implementation of the Jagananna Suraksha Chakra scheme meant to ensure inclusive governance and seamless delivery of welfare schemes, begins in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
Gram Volunteers/Ward Volunteers and Village Secretariats/Ward Secretariats director G Lakshmisha said the programme was developed under the leadership of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“This is aimed at bridging the gap and ensuring all-inclusive delivery of welfare schemes and essential certificates to every eligible citizen in the state. The programme would work with a mission ‘to leave no citizen behind’, as the state government was committed to securing welfare for each and every individual in the state.
All the 11 essential certificates including the integrated certificate, income certificate, birth certificate, death certificate, marriage certificate, mutations for transactions and corrections, family member certificate, mobile number updation in Aadhar card, crop cultivator rights card, new/split rice cards and splitting of the household could be procured or updated.
These will be provided for free at the camps, he said.
Lakshmisha also said one-day camps would be organised in every gram/ward secretariat so that the citizens could present their concerns, register their issues and receive on-the-spot resolutions or essential certificates.
