Hyderabad: Stray dogs in the Secunderabad Cantonment area have become a menace to local residents.

According to Hemanth Kumar, a resident of Text Book Colony in Kharkhana, their complaints have gone unnoticed so far.

“Earlier, dog-catching squads would visit the colonies. Now, they are rarely spotted. It has become very difficult to go for a walk because of these stray dogs. Board officials should take note of people’s problems and initiate the necessary action,” he said.
