Andhra Pradesh: Pay two months wages, Pitani Satyanarayana tells factory

The minister met the management of Jaipur Sugar Factory in Chagallu of West Godavari district, and its workers on Thursday.

Vijayawada: Labour, employment and factories minister Pitani Satyanarayana ordered the management of Jaipur Sugar Factory to pay two-months wages to its workers in a week. 

The minister met the management of Jaipur Sugar Factory  in Chagallu of West Godavari district, and its workers on Thursday. The factory union leaders urged the minister to ensure that their wages are paid.

The minister said he would hold discussions with the Japiur Sugar factory management and KCP representatives, who came forward to run the sugar factory and promised on opening it to restore the employment.  

In another meeting with the insurance medical service department representatives, the  minister discussed medical facilities in the Jaipur Sugar Factory at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Rajahmundry. He said the central government had given green signal to the state to construct ESI multi-speciality hospital in the Capital city, Amaravati.
