Hyderabad: The GHMC finally began construction of a box drainage system at Mallikarnunanagar, Malkajgiri, that will bring relief to local residents, on Friday. This newspaper had reported on the railway land in the area turning into a sewage pool due to the choked drainage.
The choked drainage resulted in Mallikarjun nagar, Hanumanpet and Jyotinagar getting inundated when it rained.
